"Kerala Brahmana Sabha is an apex organisation of Tamil Brahmins in Kerala. It's a registered organisation since 1970. KBS is working in a 3 tier system i.e. State, District, Upa Sabha (Units). Vanitha Vibhag & Youth Wing is also part of the Sabha. KBS is the a fully affiliated organisation in All India Brahmins Federation from Kerala state.
Kerala Brahmana Sabha, Vechoor Upa Sabha is Formed 1977 September 29th , Thursday.
The founder of Kerala Brahmna Sabha Vechoor Upa Sabha was Sri: Vechoor S.P.Iyer.
Sri Vechoor S.P.Iyer was also one of the Founder Member in Kerala Brahmana Sabha (KBS).
Upa Sabha conducted Monthly meeting in sabha member's houses. Luck Dip, chitty,
Scholerchip of various educational level like SSLC,Pre Degree, Degree students, to given every year,
Pookkala Matsaram, Sports, Youth festival etc...
Vechoor Upa Sabha is conducting "LAKSHARCHANA" .every year Navarathri, Mahanavami day at Edayazham Poomkavu Devi Temple. .
Vanitha Vibhagam is conducting VILAKKUPOOJA every year Navarathri at Poomkavu Devi Temple.
Lot of skilled and various professioanlist , Purohit are born in the Upasabha,and they were do very good services to Sabha members.
